Ann is appearing at a Feast of Authors (hmm, I wonder if she's tasty?) at St. Lawrence Market North in Toronto on Thursday, April 02, 2009 at 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.. This free event is sponsored by Toronto Dollar, and features dozens of Toronto authors and their books at the market. Come out to meet local authors, listen to talks, buy books, and support the community through Toronto Dollars.
Firedrake is on the reading list for the second year in a Children's Literature course taught by Professor Hilary Turner at the University College of the Fraser Valley in B.C. The university flew Ann out there in January to do two readings, one at the university in Abbotsford and the other at the Arts Council in Mission.
Ann had never been west of Ontario before, so it was a wonderful experience!
